Muffin Tin Monday: Snow

We have been talking about winter and snow this week. So for Muffin Tin Monday I pulled out the snowflake muffin tin. Unforchantly, I was out of everything I wanted to use for today's lunch. So we just had kinda a plain lunch but just know I had a cute snow themed idea maybe I will use it next week. For lunch today we had yogurt covered raisins (snowballs), carrots, tomatoes, broccoli, apple slices and turkey and cheese on thin buns. I forgot to put the hot chocolate with marshmellow in picture (snowman soup)

Before lunch we had a snowball fight with cotton balls. H loved this we have been doing this all week and she keeps asking me to do it all day. lots of fun cheap entertainment.
Then we used some of the cotton balls to make a snowman and then glued some glitter to make snow.

Thanksgiving Muffin tin Monday

For MTM this week we did a Thanksgiving theme. We have string cheese, apples (she ate some of them before i could get a picture), bugles for cornucopia's, carrot sticks, celery sticks and turkey grill cheese made with fruit leather and sweet peppers. After lunch we made turkeys from play dough by adding feathers and googly eyes.

Muffin Tin Monday Jack-o-lantern

We have been talking about pumpkins and Jack-o-lantern. So I made a fall/Jack-o-lantern theme: peach yogurt with Halloween colored sprinkles, apple cinnamon straws, water, bugles, pumpkin shaped sandwich with mini M&Ms for face, and loaded mash potatoes. H had fun decorating her sandwich like she did her pancakes yesterday.

Muffin Tin Monday: more ocean theme

today for Muffin Tin Monday H wanted another ocean theme. We had a really busy week last week and didn't get to do all the things I wanted to do for our ocean theme so I am continuing it into this week. She had goldfish, yogurt colored blue and has crumbled animal cracker and blue sprinkles for beach and ocean, sail boat made out of an apple sliced in half and then a fourth on top for sail with a toothpick holding it up, and dolphin nutella and jelly sandwiches. in the bottom middle there is also a half of baby bell cheese that is hard to see.

Today we had apples, cheese stick, celery, pretzels, and peanut butter and jelly shaped like dolphins and a heart. we started talking about Oceans and fish this week. and will continue to talk about it through next week. I am excited about all the activities I have planned for the week.

Muffin Tin Monday

Today H had her last day of this session of dance class and had a small party after. The class is from 9-10am so I made banana muffins and made these cute little toppers for all the girls. I had it printed at Office Max for 29cents. If I would have thought about it I would have had them shrink it a little but they still came out cute and the girls loved them.
For muffin tin Monday we had a left over banana muffin, pomegranate apple sauce, fresh peaches, string cheese , hot dogs and of course ketchup and trail mix with peanuts, raisins, and goldfish.

I am so excited that summer is almost over and we can start getting back into the swing of things. we are doing Muffin tin Monday again hopefully every week like before. Summer time is so hectic so it is nice to get back to slow pace again. Today we had chocolate pudding, grapes and blueberries, cherry tomatoes, California roll sushi, and a ritz peanut butter cracker she made herself. She eat everything but the chocolate pudding of all things.

Muffin tin Monday yesterday was grapes, apple sauce, baby carrots, pizza, and homemade chicken noodle soup. This is the first MTM I have done in a really long time cause of vacations, summer movies, and back to back activities, H was so excited to see it back.

Muffin Tin Monday: the letter B

We did MTM on Sunday night due to a really busy Monday. This week we are going to be focusing on the letter B. My best friend is having a baby boy this week as well so there will be lots of B's this week. For Muffin Tin Monday we had blueberries, teddy grahams 'bears', bananas, buns on our burgers, and broccoli, and all the utensils where blue. I wrote the word of each food item above or below the food so she could see the word that starts with the letter B.

Muffin Tin Monday Memorial Day

Today we honored our fallen soldiers with a Memorial Day MTM. My husband served in the US. Navy for 6 years and so grateful that he is still with us and respect the soldiers who did not make it home and pray for their families.
So it is not a "muffin tin" but it is a cut red white and blue divider lol. we had hot dogs on the grill, star shaped apples and fruit leather, and a cupcake with red white and blue sprinkles.

This week for muffin tin Monday we had chocolate milk, pineapple, edamame, humus, pita chips, and quesadilla. I had a busy day yesterday and today so I am late posting this weeks lunch.

Hi everyone. I have not been able to post as much as I would like to lately I am working on catching up. Here is what we had for lunch today. Cutie orange, black olives, cheese its, peanut butter and jelly, a gummy worm, and watermelon. H eat it all which is a really big deal cause lately she has been going through little phases of not wanting to eat. happy Monday!

This week is Earth Day week. So have been planting flowers, recycling (like always, just talking about it more), and reusing things in new ways. In our tin we had

Muffin Tin Monday: Weather themed

We have been talking about weather this week so for Muffin Tin Monday I chose to do a weather theme. It is not often that you see rain in the desert so when it was rainy this past week I used it as a good time to talk about rain, rainbows, clouds, snow, the sun, ect.
We had: Sunny cheesy eggs, yogurt with rainbow sprinkles, a rain cloud and rain drop tortilla, muddy sausage, an apple umbrella and banana, chocolate chip and sprinkles snowman. H was more than excited to eat and talk about the weather today.

We had our Muffin Tin Monday today for dinner. H had carrots sticks, ranch veggie dip, pita chips,blueberry cereal bar, and pasta salad. I kinda felt bad there was no protein in the tin but she had chicken for lunch. H loved helping me make pasta salad. She adds all the veggies and the salad dressing.

We ended St.Patrick's Day with talking about rainbows. This week theme will be rainbows. I have a lot of fun things planed. Today we had red Jello, oranges, yellow pineapples, green pickles, blueberries, and purple yogurt. She eat it ALL! which is saying a lot for H. only thing is she was dipping her pickle in the yogurt GROSS lol.

Today for muffin tin Monday we had a green theme. H had green grapes, kiwi, chocolate cupcake with green sprinkles, bell pepper and celery, hot dogs and a biscuit.
